Glime can connect to your GitHub repository to provide first answers to your user's questions, either via discussions or issues.

To connect Glime to your GitHub repository, you need to click in "Slack" on the left menu and then in the "Add to GitHub" button. Be aware that you need to be an admin of the GitHub repository to install Glime to it.

Once connected, Glime will be able to answer questions from your users direclty on GitHub.

GitHub Settings

You can configure Glime's behavior on GitHub by changing the settings in the "GitHub" section of the left menu.

  • Answer Discussions (optional): Enable or disable Glime's ability to answer discussions.
    • Categories to Reply To (optional): Define the categories that Glime will be able to answer, only available if "Answer Discussions" is enabled, the repository has categories and Glime is installed into it. Default is to answer all categories.
  • Answer Issues (optional): Enable or disable Glime's ability to answer issues.
  • Metaprompt (optional): When added these instructions will be use be Glime to answer questions on GitHub.
  • Disclaimer (optional): When added Glime will add a small disclaimer at the end of the first message sent to the user.
    • Position (optional): Define where the disclaimer will be added, only available if "Disclaimer" is enabled.
